THE TRAINING PROJECT
Overview
In this project you are required to submit a training proposal to offer a positive psychology training programme that is tailored to a particular group selected from one of the case studies below (or from an organisation detailed in your own case study), addressing its specific needs.
The assignment paper should include 5 key sections:
1. A description of the chosen client group and an assessment of the needs of this group drawn from the literature.
This should be roughly 1,700 words.
2. A detailed training programme that is geared to address the needs of the client group. The training programme should offer details of the contents as well as how the training will be delivered.
This should also be roughly 2,700 words.
3. A leaflet (up to 2 sides of an A4 paper \u2013 600 words) that aims to attract potential participants. It should briefly describe who the target group is and offer details of the training and contact details.
4. A reference list (of works cited in the proposal). This is not included in the word count.
5. A reflective account (up to 150 words) detailing your experience of conducting this assignment. This is not included in the word count.
All components should be included in one document.
Training specifications
The funding organisations have provided the following guidelines for the proposed training:
\u25cf Target audience: Applicants can choose any client group which is in line with the case studies detailed above. The training proposal requires a detailed description of the client group and an assessment of the client group\u2019s needs \/ goals.
\u25cf Training duration: Should be between 20-40 hours long.
\u25cf Means of delivery: The training can be delivered by any means or a combination of these means (face to face \u2013 at any chosen location, online, video course, phone app, etc).
\u25cf Time frame: The training can be delivered in any time frame (weekly sessions, once every two weeks, once a month, block sessions, intensive weekends, etc).
\u25cf Group size: The training can be delivered individually or in a group setting of any size or type.
\u25cf Trainers\u2019 profile: Please suggest who will deliver the training (role \/ professional profile).

Word limit
\u25cf Overall word limit: 5000 words ( \/ \u201310%).
\u25cf The word count includes the following sections: clients\u2019 groups details and needs assessment, detailed training programme, and leaflet, but does not include the reference list, reflective account and any appendices.
\u25cf Word limit for the leaflet: Up to 600 words, to fit in two sides of A4 paper.
\u25cf Word limit for the reflective account: Up to 150 words
