{"id":1155,"date":"2020-04-13T16:10:58","date_gmt":"2020-04-13T16:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/papersspot.com\/blog\/?p=1155"},"modified":"2020-04-13T16:11:02","modified_gmt":"2020-04-13T16:11:02","slug":"trend-forecasting-resources-assignment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/papersspot.com\/blog\/2020\/04\/13\/trend-forecasting-resources-assignment\/","title":{"rendered":"Trend Forecasting Resources Assignment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Trend Forecasting Resources Assignment <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(75 Points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>OBJECTIVE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this assignment is to familiarize you with the WGSN trend site available to FIDM students via the library accessible online to review and chart trend forecast predictions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ASSIGNMENT BRIEF<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>First, you\u2019ll need to complete on-line registration for access in library to access the site from your remote location.<\/p>\n<p>*Page (1) cover page (see example below page #2)<\/p>\n<p>Then, create an information sheet that highlights trends from WGSN\u2019s Fashion and Lifestyle &amp; Interiors dropdown menu separately, which contains the following information:<\/p>\n<p>*Page (2) behind your cover page include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name of individual dropdown menu Fashion and or Lifestyle &amp; Interiors (place name above each corresponding paragraph)<\/li>\n<li>Brief summary\/overview of type of information each dropdown menu contains for the following: Fashion and Lifestyle &amp; Interiors <strong>(paragraph #1 Fashion and #2 Lifestyle &amp; Interior)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>List two <strong>fun facts you learned<\/strong> while familiarizing yourself with the WGSN site <strong>(paragraph #3) *Note you must notate this under the header called Fun Facts when writing out this section<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Describe your <strong>overall impression of the site, in terms of navigational ease + how info is organized (paragraph #4)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Remember be insightful but keep each paragraph brief and to the point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Page (3) will start your <strong>(Macro)<\/strong> trend pages<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name + describe <strong>two key large scale (Macro) fashion trend. <\/strong>They can be men\u2019s or women\u2019s<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>current, or predicted trends \u2013 make sure you give each trend its own page and don\u2019t forget to add an <strong><em>image<\/em><\/strong> that corresponds with your trend above the description brief.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name + describe <strong>two key large scale (Macro) Lifestyle &amp; Interior trends<\/strong> again they can be current or predicted trends &#8211; make sure you give each trend its own page<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You\u2019ll be graded on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How thoroughly you researched each dropdown menu<\/li>\n<li>Quality of written information you include on your researched trend (again be insightful but brief)<\/li>\n<li>How well you present the required details visually, feel free to use images that relate to your trend<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>GRADING<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Information is accurate + indicates a thorough investigation of each researched trend 30 points<\/li>\n<li>Quality of written content (spelling, grammar, etc.) of each researched trend 15 points<\/li>\n<li>Quality of visual presentation + design of your trend research page 30 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NOTE: <\/strong>Include a cover page with your name, assignment name, class day + time.<\/p>\n<p>Less 10% for missing\/improperly formatted cover page or other issues following assignment directions. <strong>*See <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Page (2) for cover page outline directions!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Trend Forecasting Resources Assignment <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> (75 Points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cover Page Example Below<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(Name) <strong>Trend Forecasting Resources Assignment <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(4 Spaces From Top)<\/p>\n<p>Student\/Your Name: (4 Spaces From Top) Justified Left.<\/p>\n<p>Class Day &amp; Date: (1 Space Down Under Your Name).<\/p>\n<p>Class Time: (1 Space Down Under Day &amp; Date).<\/p>\n<p>*Note Point deductions will be given to students that don\u2019t complete the assignment or turn in the assignment on time.
