Please refer primarily to the readings in the module booklet attached, and then use a couple of primary sources to support the argument. Please only use academic books, journals and primary sources- no website references please unless they are a primary source database. Please try to use primary sources from the other document attached; the list is detailed and should give good guidance areas. This is important as they stress the importance of using the reading lists provided.\u00a0
I’m aiming for a high 2:1\/average 1st class essay. Please use MHRA, Times new roman font, 12pt. The essay is 2000 words with a 10% margin, please try not to go much under though if possible. The word count excludes the bibliography and references. Please do not include appendices as I do not normally use these and want this to be consistent with my style of writing. Please use British English spelling, not American (unless quoting of course). I have also attached the marking criteria which I’d be grateful if you could refer to.
