Watson, B. F. Skinner, Martin Seligman, Phillip Zimbardo, the \u201cMonster Study\u201d <br \/>Give specific examples of the researcher\u2019s unethical behavior and for each example identify which ethical principle may have been violated.\u00a0Start with an explanation of your researcher\u2019s topic and methodology then specify how he\/she violated ethical principles. \u00a0Finally, make suggestions on how to improve their work.\u00a0 Design a research study that may get at some of the same information while not violating ethical standards. <br \/>Your critical thinking essay should be 2-5 pages long with a 12-point font. <br \/>The following rubric will be used for grading.\u00a0\u00a0 <br \/>Grading Rubric <br \/>\u00a025 points-Interpret information accurately by\u00a0identifying\u00a0obvious violations of ethical standards in psychological contexts. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 22-25 points: Correctly identifies all ethical violations. Meets all expectations. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10-21 points: Correctly identifies several ethical violations, but not all.\u00a0 Partially meets expectations. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 0-9 points: Does not indicate understanding of ethical issues. <br \/>25 points \u2013\u00a0Explain\u00a0\u2013 accurately and thoroughly- relevant ethical issues that reflect principles in the APA Ethics Code. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 22-25 points: Accurately and thoroughly explains all relevant ethical issues. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10-21 points: Partially meets expectations. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 0-9 points: Does not meet expectations. <br \/>25 points \u2013\u00a0Create a detailed conclusion or complex solution\u00a0that is complete, well-supported, logically consistent, and often unique. Elaborates on how the researcher could fix the ethical issues while still seeking the relevant information. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 22-25 points: Creates a detailed, complex solution. Meets all expectations. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 10-21 points: Partially meets expectations. <br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 0-9 points: Does not meet expectations. <br \/>25 points: &#8211;\u00a0Recognize and develop overall organization\u00a0(e.g., beginning, development, ending). <br \/>22-25 points: Paper is well written using the authors own words and few, if any, grammatical errors.\u00a0 The paper has a clear introduction, development, and conclusion.\u00a0 The paper flows well throughout. <br \/>10-21 points:\u00a0 Partially meets expectations. Too many grammatical errors and transitions are choppy. <br \/>0-9 points:\u00a0 Does not meet expectations.
