Give specific examples of the different prophets of ancient Israel, the issues\u00a0they addressed, and their message of judgment and hope.
2) The Psalms give expression to a wide range of human emotions. Identify two (2) to\u00a0three (3) emotions and provide specific examples of Psalms that express these\u00a0emotions.\u00a0 Justify your thoughts as to how the Psalms you select\u00a0speak to the emotion with which you have it paired.
3) The study of wisdom throughout history has attempted to address the question,\u00a0\u201cWhat is the meaning of life?\u201d Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes, known as the wisdom\u00a0books, provide insight in helping to answer this profound question. In what way\u00a0does each of the books provide insight into the question of whether life has any\u00a0discernable meaning and purpose? Why or why not?
4) The books of Ruth, Esther, and Daniel seem like very different stories; however,\u00a0there are common questions that can be asked of each. These questions are: What is\u00a0God doing in the story? What are the people of God doing in the story? What do\u00a0these stories call the people of God to do?
