Now, war films will be in the focus of our attention (assuredly, there will be movies about the Great Patriotic War or the Great War for Fatherland (Soviet\/Russian name for struggle against Nazis in the USSR at the time of WWII)). This week I would like to ask you to watch three films \u201cAlexander Nevsky\u201d, \u201cCome and See\u201d and third one – your choice: \u201cBallade of\/about Soldier\u201d or \u201cDestiny of A Man\u201d. Often, cinema glorifies a war. Do these films glorify a war? What is it a war, according to the messages of directors?\u00a0 Please, remember that everything is important in the film (especially in the Soviet film) \u2013\u00a0 any element, picture, symbols and, of course, words and time when it was made. <\/p>\n
