So what could you write about??? \u00a0I can think of lots of things like: <\/p>\n
The Environment
Technology
Globalization
Refugees
Drugs <\/p>\n
What kinds of crisis can we expect in the next few decades? \u00a0How would Max Brooks advise us to be better prepared? \u00a0How would Isaac Asimov write about them in one of his short stories? \u00a0You have been exposed to lots of issues and lots of differnt ways of looking at all kinds of issues. \u00a0Clearly in a four week course, there are subjects I simply haven’t had time to cover. \u00a0Think of one and write about it. \u00a0Make it as crazy as you’d like. \u00a0I am looking for it to make some kind of sense. \u00a0For example, if you wanted to write about big\u00a0hurricanes, then lets hear how government agencies would react. \u00a0FEMA, NOA, the military, etc. \u00a0How should we prepare? \u00a0Maybe all these different agencies are too complcated? \u00a0Maybe with global climate change, we need a weather czar. Should it be controlled by each individual country or should it be under the authority of the UN, like in the Expanse? <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
