A SWOT analysis provides the opportunity to evaluate these components in the present tense to establish a baseline of an organization\u2019s current performance. It aids in identifying where efforts need to be directed to enhance existing strengths, diminish weaknesses, and move the organization forward. Ideally, a SWOT analysis is a part of organizational operations, providing a \u201cself-check\u201d as to mission and goal attainment. For additional information on a SWOT analysis, visit the\u00a0SWOT Analysis\u00a0(Links to an external site.)\u00a0resource in the Writing Center. <br \/>In this assignment, you are going to be conducting a SWOT Analysis from an outside perspective, as one might get from a consultant rather than the internal perspective of an organization\u2019s leadership. Each category of the SWOT analysis should evaluate how that category is impacted by culture, organizational structure, and leadership.
