This is as simple as addressing your opponent’s position – ONE POINT – and lessening the value of that position – you are undermining one of the points that is contrary to your own argument. You might begin your refutation paragraph with a simple, “Others may argue that…” OR “Those opposed to this decision claim…”\u00a0\u00a0
