In his work with Roger Penrose, he is also known for the set\u00a0 of gravitational singularity theorems\u00a0which supported\u00a0Einstein&#8217;s theory of general relativity.\u00a0 <br \/>Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) <br \/>Galileo is known for his experiments and theories in the field of bodies in motion which demonstrated the relationship between astronomy and physics.
