In a new discussion thread choose one of the vocabulary words from the How to Read Art PPT (Elements of Composition\/Principles of Design) and\u00a0brainstorm about it in paragraph form. Use Art Vocabulary Terms (slides 5 and 6 of the How to Read Art PPT) to chose a few terms to brainstorm.
Remember to use\u00a0concrete rather than abstract language\u00a0to describe your image. For instance, do not write, “The painting is\u00a0beautiful.” \u00a0Instead, write, “The painting features shades of green, blue, and red throughout, giving it a dynamic contrast of colors.”
