Teachers are encouraged to develop learning experiences that enable students to engage in higher order activities that will promote deeper, more conceptual learning. <br \/>Higher Order Thinking <br \/>Creating <br \/>Evaluating <br \/>Analyzing <br \/>Applying <br \/>Understanding <br \/>Remembering <br \/>Lower Order Thinking <br \/>Steve Jobs and teams of scientists, engineers, and inventors at Apple famously started thinking about new projects at the bottom of the lower order thinking skills scale and then through rounds of designing and experimenting created Mac computers as well as iPod, iPhone, and iPad technologies. <\/p>\n<p>Questions:\u00a0 <br \/>In this activity, evaluate digital games for learning using Bloom\u2019s Taxonomy by completing the following steps: <br \/>Choose\u00a0one game from the\u00a0Games for Change website\u00a0(Links to an external site.)\u00a0(some are just previews or overviews)\u00a0or\u00a0from other websites or games\u00a0that students have identified as serious games for learning. <br \/>You can watch a video, read through the previews, or play the game itself. <br \/>Describe\u00a0the thinking skills (Bloom&#8217;s Taxonomy) in the game.
