This week you will create a Developmental Action Plan for one of your subordinates that will help that subordinate be more ethical. Possibly this subordinate needs help with understanding ethics and all that is involved in the workplace. Align an ethical characteristic to this subordinate such as trustworthiness to this plan. You will identify a specific trait that aligns with ethical behaviors since ethics is a very large area. If you do not have a subordinate, use one that you had in a previous job position. Use the Developmental Planning Process described in previous weeks. Select one leader trait or competency that aligns with ethical behavior–use this trait as the focal point of your developmental action plan.
Remember you as the supervisor are not a part of the development for your chosen subordinate. You and the subordinate have met about the issue. The plan is developed for him\/her to complete on his\/her own. Be specific on the process, ensure the measure of success is objective-based (use a climate survey as that ensures objectivity) and the resources align with the steps in the process.
Note: The grading rubric in the Syllabus will be used to grade this assignment.
