Controlling and preventing loss is a critical goal of risk management. Hopkin discusses two terms \u2013 likelihood and magnitude \u2013 that relate to this goal. Select one of these terms and briefly describe how it may be taken into consideration when to successfully mitigate loss. <\/p>\n

A = Achievable = Also called realistic
R = Relevant \u2013 Appropriate for the scenario
T \u2013 Time oriented \u2013 Be specific. Within one hour? Three days (as in 6)?
Here are yours: I added some comments in itlaics.
.1 We carefully search through the ruins and try and locate the missing staff and the missing residence (A residence is a place. You mean residents).
The word try is vague. This is search and rescue. It is simple, realistic and relevant but not measurable. Be specific. How long should this take? (Be realistic. It would not be possible, for example, to do this in 10 minutes). Also, an objective does not include words like we or they. Begin with \u201cSearch the building \u2026.\u201d
2. They are quickly rushed to hospital and in case they are in a critical condition they are rushed into the emergency room. Specify who you mean by \u2018they.\u2019 What does quickly mean? In what time frame should those victims be transferred? To where?
3. We secure the area by deploying a few officers to make sure it is not tampered with so that investigations can begin. How many are \u2018a few?\u2019 What kind of officers? Does a nursing home have officers? What do you mean by tampered with? Time frame?
4. We switch off the electricity entries into the building to prevent any electrocution. \u201cShut electricity within 5 minutes of building collapse.\u201d You don\u2019t need an explanation as to why.
5. Take out the residents\u2019 goods to prevent them from being stolen. Is this really a priority in a collapsed building being searched by rescue personnel? <\/p>\n
6. Re-evaluate the whole building to know exactly what the cause was. When? <\/p>\n
