2.Taking your chosen quality concern: Identify any professional and\/or national standards, guidelines or recommendations that address this concern. Use a minimum of one of these organizations: American Organization of Nurse Executive (AONE) standards, guiding principles or guidelines; Center for Disease Control (CDC); National Patient Safety Goals established by the Joint Commission, or any other professional organization with interest in this quality concern. <\/p>\n
3. Review the literature to determine the statistical significance of the concern and any proposed action plans authors shared to address possible resolution of your quality concern. Provide a paraphrased summary of at least 2 literature or research articles applicable to the quality issue. <\/p>\n
4.Define a realistic and feasible expected outcome you want to achieve to show successful resolution of the issue. Please follow this format: SMART- specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, time specific. <\/p>\n
5.Propose a specific action plan to address resolution of this issue.<\/p>\n
6.Determine the most appropriate type of audit (e.g., chart review, observation, patient interview, etc.), and why is the best to use for evaluation of this quality concern<\/p>\n
7. Devise an evaluation period that will give sufficient time to reach your desired expected outcome. Explain.<\/p>\n
8.Provide a conclusion.<\/p>\n
