He has undergone radiation for his disease that left his throat very sore. He has lost 15 pounds since starting treatment and now weighs 150 pounds and is 6 feet tall.<\/p>\n<p>Lucy is an 18-year-old female with nephrosis. She is 5\u20197\u201d and weighs 125 pounds. She was very active in high school athletics before her lupus started getting worse last year and she found herself with kidney damage. She knows her diet needs to change but is having difficulty keeping it all straight.<\/p>\n<p>Shannon is a 56-year-old female with type 2 diabetes. She is 5\u20194\u201d and weighs 190 pounds. She has never paid close attention to her diet and does not like cooking very much. She keeps busy with her job as a receptionist, her family of 5, and her dog, Sprinkles, but she struggles to make time to exercise.<\/p>\n<p>Max is a 72-year-old male with hypertension. He recently retired and has been enjoying cooking and baking for his wife daily. They have both gained a \u201cbit of weight\u201d recently and he went to the doctor last week because he was having shortness of breath.
