You should provide a short conclusion at the end of your essay that, again, states your thesis and your main argument for it (as a rule of thumb, the conclusion should be less than 140 words). In the main body of your essay you need to argue for your position by providing reasons and responding to obvious objections. Throughout the essay, you should make use of the course readings.Citations: Avoid direct quotations. Summarizing and paraphrasing are best. You should rely mainly on the course readings, and the in-class materials. You may cite outside sources or the lecture slides, but neither is recommended. Course readings should be cited using APA format by giving the author&#8217;s name, the publication year, and a page number.
