Please study a religious group that is opposite and challenging for you to agree with, for example, if you are an evangelical Christian and there is a possibility for you to work with individuals that are Buddhist, then study the precepts, values, and rituals that are common in that particular belief system. Or if you are an atheist then study the precepts, values, and rituals that are common in that particular belief system. It is important that you select an organizational tradition that is unfamiliar to you and that will challenge assumptions or biases that you may hold. Be uncomfortable, stretch your limits, use this opportunity to confront your bias and challenge the precepts of the “group” that you belong to.
