Do you look around at the built environment? Do you take in the feeling of a building or do you \u201cpretend it\u2019s not there?\u201d<\/p>\n
Gehry talked about the issue with the Sydney Opera House and the office building built next to it, ruining the view of the iconic structure. Should some buildings be held \u201csacred\u201d and the surrounding environment kept away to maintain the view of the original building?<\/p>\n
Gehry discussed his idea of what makes a building \u201cugly.\u201d What do you consider to be \u201cugly\u201d in the built environment? Do you believe that a lack of consideration for humanity makes a building\/interior \u201cugly?\u201d<\/p>\n
He talked about being a very famous architect now, and the impact on how he works. What is the benefit to \u201coperating with a fairly decent level of insecurity?\u201d<\/p>\n
Gehry discussed how architects and artists do the same thing in the way that a building, like a work of art, is a cultural commentary. Do you think that interior design is a \u201ccultural commentary?\u201d<\/p>\n
