The land was ours before we were the land’s.<\/p>\n

In Massachusetts, in Virginia,<\/p>\n
But we were England’s, still colonials,<\/p>\n
Possessing what we still were unpossessed by,<\/p>\n

Something we were withholding made us weak<\/p>\n

We were withholding from our land of living,<\/p>\n
