For week one:\u00a0 Please post a short introduction about yourself and answer the following questions.\u00a0 Include such things as what program of study you are in and what you hope to get out of our Medical Terminology class.\u00a0\u00a0Please respond to at least two posts by your fellow classmates\u00a0so we can get acquainted with each other. (Replies are worth one point each for a max. of 2 points.). Remember, for your reply to count, it has to add meaning to the discussion and\u00a0be at least 3 sentences long.\u00a0\u00a0Post such as “good post” or similar will not count toward credit for a reply.\u00a0<\/p>\n

10.\u00a0 How many quizzes are there for this class and how many exams?\u00a0 When are they scheduled and when are they due?<\/p>\n
Also:\u00a0\u00a0Post five sentences using medical terminology you are already familiar with.\u00a0 This can be on any subject you like.<\/p>\n
Each week you will receive an assignment similar to this on the Discussion Board.\u00a0 These are the online class participation assignments that you receive a total of 14 points for weekly.\u00a0 Weekly Db assignments are due on Fridays by midnight.\u00a0 Again, please respond to at least two other posts.\u00a0 You will receive 7 points for your post and 1 point for each of the 2 posts you respond to and 5 points for sentences you write (one point for each sentence).\u00a0 Missing a weekly Db is like missing an on campus class, once the class is over you cannot go back and make it up.\u00a0\u00a0Once a Db is past you cannot go back and make it up.\u00a0The discussion has been completed at the end of each week when it closes.<\/p>\n
When writing your sentences\u00a0please do not write definitions to the words.\u00a0 I am looking for sentences that show you understand how to use the words.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Also,\u00a0you are all writing at the college level now.\u00a0\u00a0I expect you to use correct, basic grammar, punctuation and spelling.\u00a0 I will count off for basic errors.\u00a0I will count off for leaving periods off the end of sentences, not starting sentences with capitol letters, gross spelling errors and sentences I cannot understand.\u00a0 Please proof read your work so you don’t lose points due to these kind of errors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
