You will prepare a Policy Paper that summarizes relevant research and provides a clear recommendation to a government, NGO, or private
sector senior official on a current debate related to global policy. <\/p>\n

Sections\u200b:
\u25cfPurpose Statement\u200b: Introduce and state the purpose of the paper (one short paragraph).
\u25cfBackground\u200b: From a domestic and international policy perspective, provide a high-level overview of the policy debate. This section
should highlight the most critical points that will be discussed further in the next section.
\u25cfKey Issues\u200b: Provide analysis and discussion of key arguments in favor of, and opposition to the issues and debate. Also, discuss other
possible approaches that a country or organization should pursue.

\u25cfConclusion\u200b: Provide an overall recommendation to the senior official on to what degree and how should the country or organization
address the key issues (half-page).
\u25cfReferences\u200b: Reference at least six source documents throughout the paper, citing them as endnotes (APA format). <\/p>\n
