Please create a manual for your dental office to use as a training tool for a new dental assistant. Outline the following areas of content:<\/p>\n
Opening the office each day- what needs to be done?<\/p>\n
Getting the operatory ready for each patient<\/p>\n
Operatory disinfection and set up details<\/p>\n
Instrument processing<\/p>\n
Sterile storage<\/p>\n
Closing the office for the day<\/p>\n
You can find all of this information in your textbook but I would imagine most of it you already know! Keep in mind that the new dental assistant has no knowledge of your office\u2019s particular procedures. It would also be a good idea to share some good \u201ctips\u201d with your new co-worker regarding infection control. Also, be original and creative. Use graphics and\/or color to make it an attractive manual in a 3 ring hard cover binder, and make sure it is detailed. The font should be a 12 point Times New Roman and double spaced.
