Do this within 24 hours of when you have been selected group leader.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\"><li>All group members (including the leader) create slides and video narration for their part of the VoiceThread presentation.<ul><li><strong>The presentation address should the following elements:<\/strong><ol><li>What is the importance of understanding health reform &#8211; what impact does it make on you? Bullet point at least one area of impact for each person in the group as it related to their role\/area &#8211; you are encouraged to find a way to refer to either of the reading materials for this week.<\/li><li>Describe how government and health care intersect &#8211; what government agencies regulate healthcare?<\/li><li>Describe, explore, and assess the types of health care-related lobbying groups that exist and how they influence the health care system and its services.<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>Each student should focus on the lobbying groups in your state<\/li><li>Choose at a minimum of 3 lobbying groups per person<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Include the following detail for the groups &#8211; mission, who funds the group, what legislation or issues they are currently supporting<\/li><li>How will the group&#8217;s activities impact the health care system &#8211; provide the positive and negative aspects<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Every member of the group is expected to participate in the research, planning, and creation of this presentation.<\/li><li>All students will contribute to questions 1 &amp; 2.<\/li><li>Students can create their own slides for the groups they research<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Upload your PowerPoint Slides to VoiceThread presentation space created by the group leader and using your script, provide the narration preferably using either the microphone or webcam commenting options.<\/li><li>Submit the URL for your presentation to this assignment by the due date.<\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-cyan-blue-color\">WE&#8217;VE HAD A GOOD SUCCESS RATE ON THIS ASSIGNMENT.
