To assist in building a virtual community and getting to know your cohort members you will be introducing yourself to each other with a pre-recorded video introduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. Familiarize yourself with how to use the camera\/microphone on your computer or mobile device. You may use an external, USB camera and microphone if you are uncertain.<\/li>
  2. Create a video introduction of yourself. In your introduction, include the following:
    • Your name<\/li>
    • Your geographical location<\/li>
    • Choose one of the following:
      • If you have prior work\/healthcare experience: your title, employer, main responsibilities in your position<\/li>
      • If no prior work\/healthcare experience: your prior degree(s), colleges, majors, unique experiences<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • List the career goal you wish to reach by the end of the program<\/li>
      • Include one interesting or unique fact about yourself<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
      • Save your video with a file name that includes your first and last name.<\/li>
      • Post your initial\u00a0Reply<\/strong>\u00a0to the discussion by the due date on the course calendar.
        • Upload your video introduction file to post as your initial reply.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
        • Respond<\/strong>\u00a0to at least two peer posts by the due date on the course calendar,<\/li>
        • Check back to this page frequently, to listen to the recordings from the other members of your cohort.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
