Watch the TED Talk&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/dan_pink_on_motivation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Puzzle of Motivation<\/a>&nbsp;(by Daniel Pink, author of the bestselling <em>Drive: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us), <\/em>and&nbsp;read the assigned article (&#8220;On the Folly of Rewarding A, While Hoping for B&#8221; by Kerr). (Fyi, Pink can be a little controversial, in that monetary rewards can play an important role in the workplace. Nevertheless, he does a good job of teasing out the distinction between extrinsic and intrinsic.) Then, please post about how you are rewarded at work, and how you would like to be rewarded.&nbsp; Explicitly bring in both Pink <em>and<\/em> Kerr.&nbsp; One main post, and respond to at least one classmate&#8217;s post&nbsp;(roughly 300 words for your main post).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions are not graded individually (which is why the discussion is set to\u00a0zero points).
