In this simulation exercise, you will play the role of an inventory manager in a beer production and distribution supply chain. It\u2019s a simple linear supply chain that consists of four stages (retailer, wholesaler, distributor and manufacturer), and you will manage one of these stages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The instructor will assign your role before the game starts and will provide you with the website to the simulation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teams will be graded on participation and performance.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20 points will be awarded for completing the simulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Distribution of the remaining points will be awarded out based on how well your team performs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The objective of this game is to demonstrate the importance of real-time communication and effective decision-making in supply chains, and to show how the biases in decision-making influences supply chain performance. Your goal in this exercise is to minimize the total cost in your supply chain for the entire duration of the simulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-pale-cyan-blue-color\">WE&#8217;VE HAD A GOOD SUCCESS RATE ON THIS ASSIGNMENT.
