Discussion 2<\/p>\n
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act give immigrants many rights and protections that improve their health coverage, providing those many facilities. The ACA gives medicate programs to those people who have low income. If they want to get health insurance, they must be lawfully present in the country. Individuals who have immigration status are included in the term lawfully present. The people, who lawfully reside in the United States, for example, green card holders, refugees, and asylums, are included in Immigrants or qualified non-citizens.<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Immigrants have to face many problems to get health insurance and health care. The ACA and market places make it easier for them. The market places provide private insurance plans to them. The Immigrants should be US citizen if he wants to get health insurance through the marketplace. If one applies for Medicaid with health insurance costs from marketplaces, one will not become a lawful US citizen. Undocumented Immigrants can take some emergency medical services through medication. If they cannot get marketplace coverage and have low income, ACA provides them low-cost health care. Immigrant families can get primary health care services from community health centers. They can get access to Affordable quality health care through health insurance. They can buy a plan from Insurance Company, and the company fixed their medical cost when they need it.<\/p>\n
The insurance process includes some difficulties like documentation, communication, etc. (Rice T. 2013). If the immigrants don’t get health insurance, they will have to pay a fee based on a percentage of their income. People, especially immigrants who are obeying the country’s rules faithfully, are frustrated by the process of getting insurance (McElfish PA 2016). No one wants to get sick or hurt, but sometimes people need medical care in an emergency. With health insurance, they can use emergency rooms. Health insurance provides low-cost health treatment.<\/p>\n
