Stakeholder analysis is an important element in any project as it helps identify who the players are that have an interest in the technical solution that is to be produced. Obviously, some stakeholders have a greater interest or priority than others. There are various reasons for this, organizational culture, organizational politics and power structures, funding sources and mission priorities are just a few of the reasons a stakeholder has a greater interest or possesses greater influence on the direction and priorities the project takes.<\/p>\n
