Think about your own discipleship, your church, your ministry, your social and political environment, so that your response to the chapter takes on a personal, invested perspective. <\/p>\n<p> There is no need to summarize the chapter, as I am interested in your thoughts and engagement with the author. <\/p>\n<p> Do not simply use the chapter as a springboard to talk about your own views about the topic. <\/p>\n<p> Do not write a sermon or give a speech on the topic. Rather, think about what Starling has to say and enter into a dialogue with him. <\/p>\n<p> If a particular point strikes you as interesting, explain how it resonates with you or how it is relevant to your context. <\/p>\n<p> You do not always have to agree with the author.
