Final Anthology Proposal<\/p>\n
This proposal consists of a\u00a0one-page outline briefly describing your anthology. Your proposal must include:<\/p>\n
1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A working anthology title.<\/p>\n
2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A theme, concept, or question: What theme, concept, or question is your anthology addressing? To help you answer this question, think about why you want to create this collection of literature and for whom? What makes this anthology (or collection of literature) different from others?<\/p>\n
3.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A list of\u00a0two (2) materials from our course syllabus:<\/p>\n
You are welcome to choose any of the materials we’ve engaged\u00a0EXCEPT\u00a0Cathy Park Hong’s chapters.<\/p>\n
4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In addition to the two items above, you must\u00a0include three (3)\u00a0outside material\u00a0of your choosing (this could be a text, essay, film, book, chapter, poetry, film, or another work of art such as a painting, illustration, or song \u2013 if a painting or sculpture, you will need to include a photo of it).<\/p>\n
5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0For each item, indicate why you are including it in the anthology. Does the item respond to your theme or question? How so? How do these materials build on each other?<\/p>\n
