Using the learning objectives as"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>INSTRUCTIONS<\/p>\n<p> Report on Progress \/ Assess Performance.<\/p>\n<p> Using the learning objectives as a reference,\u00a0share what progress you have made in your internship up to this point in the semester.\u00a0You may use the following questions to assist you in writing your paper.<\/p>\n<p> What progress has been made toward achieving the learning objectives?\u00a0What learning outcomes are you experiencing?<\/p>\n<p> If the learning objectives have been met, what additional learning will be achieved during the internship?<\/p>\n<p> What challenges have you encountered in relation to the learning objectives and\/or the internship in general?<\/p>\n<p> Assess your overall experience to date.<\/p>\n<p> Follow the PAPER FORMAT guidelines noted below.<\/p>\n<p> Formatting<\/p>\n<p> Your paper must be formatted following the instructions below in order to be reviewed and graded.<\/p>\n<p> FONT &#8211; Typed using Times New Roman or Calibri (Body) font. Only these two fonts will be accepted. Handwritten documents will not be accepted<\/p>\n<p> SPACING &#8211; Body of the paper: Double Spaced in 12-point font. <\/p>\n<p> MARGINS &#8211; Side and Top margins must be set at 1.0-inch or 1.0&#8243;.<\/p>\n<p> LENGTH &#8211; Minimum of 1+ pages; Maximum of 2 pages. PAPERS UNDER (1) PAGE or OVER (2) PAGES will be returned.<\/p>\n<p> GRAMMAR, CAPITALIZATION and PUNCTUATION &#8211; Proper use of grammar, capitalization of proper nouns and punctuation are expected, to the best of your ability.<\/p>\n<p> GRAMMAR and PUNCTUATION &#8211; While this is not an English writing course, it is expected that students write professionally as they prepare for graduation and to advance in their career.<\/p>\n<p> Do not use Exclamation marks! They are not appropriate in a professional paper. <\/p>\n<p> CAPITALIZATION &#8211; One pet peeve of mine is when the Employer where the student is working IS NOT Capitalized or written correctly. Examples: The employer &#8216;imagine learning&#8217; should be Imagine Learning; Doterra should be doTERRA. Also, not correctly capitalizing proper nouns is unprofessional in business writing. Examples: google analytics should be Google Analytics; excel should be Excel; salesforce should be Salesforce.<\/p>\n<p> If there are multiple errors, or the paper becomes distracting to read, the paper might be marked as INCOMPLETE.<\/p>\n<p> The LEARNING OBJECTIVES of your internship are as follows\uff1a<\/p>\n<p> Understand the inventory situation, checking and recording levels of supplies and raw material on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p> Method of Measurement\uff1aRecord daily using Excel, analyze weekly and report to site supervisor.<\/p>\n<p> Establish effective contact with various suppliers and place orders to replenish inventory to avoid shortages or excessive surpluses.<\/p>\n<p> b) Method of Measurement: Ensure adequate product inventory and the ability to meet the needs of customers.<\/p>\n<p> 3. Reduce food waste and loss, negotiate restocking costs with suppliers or find new quality suppliers to reduce total cost of goods and increase profits.<\/p>\n<p> c) Method of Measurement: Reduce restocking costs by at least 5% by the end of the internship period.<\/p>\n<p> All names in the report will be replaced by the following forms, for example, the restaurant you work in will be called [Chinese Restaurant], your field supervisor will be called [site supervisor], and the supplier will be called [Supplier A] ], [Supplier B], etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INSTRUCTIONS Report on Progress \/ Assess Performance.
