Critical Reflection #1
Compare and contrast early ‘trick-films’ from ‘story-driven’ films — two of the most popular styles of early cinema. What are some of their characteristic features? What were the contexts in which they were produced, and later viewed?
Please reference: at least two films we have either watched in class or as assigned viewing and at least two of the assigned readings for Week 2.
