For your first discussion assignment, you will choose one of the changes (adaptations) that occurred in the evolution of whales from terrestrial mammals, and explain how that change was an adaptation to an aquatic life. You may need to do some independent research to round out your idea, and then post a brief description and explanation of your example, with proper citation of your source(s). A well-written short paragraph (4-6sentences) is expected, and you can use standard APA format for your citation. Make sure you use reliable, reputable sources. You also need to reply to at least one of your classmates’ post – this reply must be a thoughtful extension, additional example, etc., to their topic. Please note that a simple “how interesting” or “good post” is NOT a sufficient reply.
