1. Share your thoughts as to why you believe incivility is common among nursing professionals.
a. Discuss one (1) strategy found from the literature (i.e., journal articles, books, etc.) that you could use to mitigate incivility (use in-text citation and reference).
2. Identify a situation where you have used a “theory” of nursing to direct your activities with clients. If you have not had direct patient contact in the past five (5) years, think of another situation where you have used a theory from other fields such as Maslow’s Hierarchy or Piaget’s Growth and Development of children to guide your actions. Summarize the situation and discuss how the theory was applied in the case presented.
