To assist in building a virtual community and getting to know your cohort members you will be introducing yourself to each other with a pre-recorded video introduction.

Steps

  1. Familiarize yourself with how to use the camera/microphone on your computer or mobile device. You may use an external, USB camera and microphone if you are uncertain.
  2. Create a video introduction of yourself. In your introduction, include the following:
    • Your name
    • Your geographical location
    • Choose one of the following:
      • If you have prior work/healthcare experience: your title, employer, main responsibilities in your position
      • If no prior work/healthcare experience: your prior degree(s), colleges, majors, unique experiences
    • List the career goal you wish to reach by the end of the program
    • Include one interesting or unique fact about yourself
  3. Save your video with a file name that includes your first and last name.
  4. Post your initial Reply to the discussion by the due date on the course calendar.
    • Upload your video introduction file to post as your initial reply.
  5. Respond to at least two peer posts by the due date on the course calendar,
  6. Check back to this page frequently, to listen to the recordings from the other members of your cohort.
