To assist in building a virtual community and getting to know your cohort members you will be introducing yourself to each other with a pre-recorded video introduction.
Steps
- Familiarize yourself with how to use the camera/microphone on your computer or mobile device. You may use an external, USB camera and microphone if you are uncertain.
- Create a video introduction of yourself. In your introduction, include the following:
- Your name
- Your geographical location
- Choose one of the following:
- If you have prior work/healthcare experience: your title, employer, main responsibilities in your position
- If no prior work/healthcare experience: your prior degree(s), colleges, majors, unique experiences
- List the career goal you wish to reach by the end of the program
- Include one interesting or unique fact about yourself
- Save your video with a file name that includes your first and last name.
- Post your initial Reply to the discussion by the due date on the course calendar.
- Upload your video introduction file to post as your initial reply.
- Respond to at least two peer posts by the due date on the course calendar,
- Check back to this page frequently, to listen to the recordings from the other members of your cohort.
