Preparation
- Purchase the book with code, Strengths-Based Leadership: Great Leaders, Teams, and Why People Follow, ISBN: 978-1595620255, Conchie & Rath, 2008. This book is listed under Required Course Materials for MHA Program & MHA Orientation in the Course Orientation.
- DO NOT purchase a used copy of the code, it will not work. You can purchase a used book, but will need to buy a new code. It may be cheaper to buy a new book with the code as a set.
- Locate your assessment access code; your unique access code for the StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment is in an envelope in the back of the Strengths Based Leadership book
- Set aside about 45 minutes to take the assessment; it is a timed assessment, providing only 20 seconds per question for your response
Steps
1. Take the Online Assessment
- Log in to the StrengthsFinder website at http://strengths.gallup.com (Links to an external site.)
- On the upper-right hand corner of the main page, click Enter Access Code. This will take you to the registration page where you will need to enter your information. All fields in bold are required.
- Enter the access code provided to you; click Submit.
- Take the online StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment.
- Submit your results in this assignment.
2. Submit your Results by the due date on the course calendar
- Create a PDF of the results titled, “Your Signature Themes” Report; this lists your top 5 strengths and associated domains
- Send a copy of your Report, titled like this: your last name, your first name, StrengthsFinder Theme Report, (Mark, Daphne, StrengthsFinder Themes Report ) to Daphne Mark at dlm79@psu.edu
- Save an additional copy of the report on your own computer
- Print a copy of your report and bring it with you to the August Onboarding Intensive
- Upload the report to this assignment
