Overview
Now that your group has submitted your analysis for the case study, you will be turning your attention to providing feedback. It is important that you be able to provide clear, concise, and useful feedback. Think of this as an opportunity to sit in the Marketing Managers chair.
Please remember this discussion is graded and worth 15 points. It is listed as worth “0” points in this forum as you will only receive one total grade for your group for each case study!
Creating Discussion Thread
One member of your team should create the initial post. The purpose of this post will be for you to submit your final case analysis. The post has be set to post first meaning you will not see any other teams responses until you upload yours. Please make sure to include your group name in the subject line.
This initial post will, in essence, create the thread through which other teams will provide you feedback. In addition to providing feedback to at least one other team, you should be checking this thread and engaging respondents in discussion. It could be as simple as asking for clarification of their suggestions or expanding on their ideas.
Developing and Sharing Feedback to Others.
In order to complete this assignment, you should meet as a team and discuss the responses posted by the other teams. (Feel free to use your team’s group space to do so.) Then select a minimum of one team to provide formal feedback. The emphasis should be placed on constructive, realistic feedback. If you were the Marketing Manager, what questions, considerations, suggestions would you provide to ensure that the final response makes the most sense for the business?
Feedback Criteria
In your response, use a SWOT approach to your critique; you must address the following aspects:
- Strengths: what do you feel were the most appropriate and useful points to their approach/response?
- Weakness: identify at least one area of improvement to the approach the team has put forth
- Opportunities: provide at least one alternative suggestion to how the team’s approach could be extended or improved
- Threats: identify at least one challenge or issue that might arise from the approach the team has put forth.
