After
reading ,please answer those question:
(1)
Provide a concise summary of all texts’ main arguments. I don’t expect you to
necessarily understand all texts so it’s completely fine for you to be
confused. In that case, try to paraphrase/explain passages you found most
confusing.
(2)
Then, by referencing particular passages and page numbers, reflect on the text.
What did you find interesting? What did you find shocking or surprising? What
did you dis/agree with and why? Try to explain your reactions, interest, shock,
or surprise.
(3)
Conclude by putting the texts in conversation with current events. It isn’t
sufficient to simply say that the reading is related to the BLM protests or the
issues surrounding COVID-10, for example. Assume all texts are at least
tangentially related to these. Instead, identify specific passages in the texts
in order to work through current events. How do the texts help explain
something we’re living through? Or, on the contrary, do you find that current
events are so different from the theoretical texts that we need to reconsider
how relevant notions are changing?
