You are given a map with surface weather elements for given stations in an area of the United States.
Analyze the weather elements on the map to determine the:Location of the low
Location of the cold front
Location of the warm front
Location of the occluded front (very short length)

Then, on the map, draw:Low pressure system in its correct location (an “L”) (up to 30 points out of 100).
Cold front in its correct location using proper symbology and orientation (up to 30 points out of 100).
Warm front in its correct location using proper symbology and orientation (up to 30 points out of 100).
Occluded front in its correct location using proper symbology and orientation (hint: this occluded front is not very long but remember it begins in the low (up to 10 points out of 100).
Hint: when done, you should see a mid-latitude cyclone.

You may complete your assignment in one of several ways, such as:Save the “Surface Analysis Exercise with Isobars” map to your computer then use your computer to draw the required items on the map, save as a .pdf or an image file type such as .jpg, and submit via the assignment in D2L/Brightspace.
Print the blank “Surface Analysis Exercise with Isobars” map, sketch the required elements on the map with a dark pencil or colored pencils, then scan, save as a .pdf or .jpg file, and submit OR take a clear, legible picture of your completed map with your phone, email it to yourself, save to your computer, and submit via the assignment in D2L/Brightspace
