My topic for my research paper is the influence of fashion on people’s lives, their culture, and identity. My research proposal is attached for making clear my ideas and topic. It is called a “proposal”. A sample of the annotated bibliography is also attached.Instructions:
You are required to provide me with an annotated bibliography for the research project. The bibliography should consist of at least four sources. At least one source should be from a peer reviewed journal, but the others may be from anywhere as long as they are credible.
According to MLA standards the annotated bibliography should include the correct citation for each source followed by a paragraph. (3-6 sentences long) that include the following (you do not have to have to answer all of the suggested questions but they must have those three components, and be substantial):
A short summary of the source
What are the main arguments?
What topics are covered?
An evaluation of the source
Is this a good source?
Is the information reliable?
Is the information biased?
What is the goal of the source?
A reflection
How can you use this source in your research project?
How will it be helpful to you?
All citations should be formatted in a hanging indent, and all entries should be alphabetical by the first letter of each citation
Grading: I will be concerned with how well you format your annotated bibliography; how well you summarize, evaluate, and reflect on the source; grammar and sentence structure; and if you have four sources.
Note: Do not use bullet points or numbers. These should be complete paragraphs as you are in a composition course.
