Think back to your first Think Piece. You were asked why this class was important. Now that you’ve taken the class, let’s revisit this question.
Now that you’ve finished the course, why was it important for you to take a critical thinking course? What have you learned in this course? What changes to your thinking will you implement now that you’ve had an introduction to critical thinking?
Now, expand your perspective. What should changes should be implemented when it comes to public figures who have an influence on culture, government, and policy? What do politicians, religious leaders, and other persons who have cultural importance need to know about critical thinking? Provide them with a guideline for public speaking. Make sure that you’ve provided some sort of blueprint that will improve public discourse and implement the principles of critical thinking.
