-Identify the governmental official you would like to interview. The person must be an electedstate or local official. The person must be unrelated and independent of your close circle of friends and family. The idea is to reach out to someone with whom you are not already personally familiar and interview the individual from an objective, unbiased viewpoint. See the description of “Final Paper” under “Summary of Assignments” for more details of the total project. You are not allowed to proceed any further with this project until your instructor has approved your proposed interviewee.Requirements: In Unit 3, submit a brief summary explaining the person you propose to interview. Your summary must include:
name of the person you propose to interview;
a brief description of the governmental position the person occupies — remember the position must be an elected position;
and the reason you selected this person and a brief overview of the insight you hope to gain from interviewing this person.
Your submission should include a title page and a written summary that is no longer than one page (not counting title page).
