Aristotle2 I like the method Aristotle used of breaking each virtue or action to extreme and moderation, I think all people use this method subconsciously or at least I do. I believe people have different definitions of extremism and moderation as both are subjective topics. I don’t agree with Aristotle about his view on magnificence virtue because he stated that only the rich can achieve this virtue. I believe that people with low wealth can be involved in a heavy expenses, wealth is subjective as some people are happy and fine with what others might define as low wealth. Aristotle 3 Justice is the only virtue that benefits another human, that is how Aristotle described the virtue of justice. He continued by stating that justice is what considered to be lawful and fair, which I find to be very interesting. Laws changes over time, which means that what is considered justice today might be injustice tomorrow. The same concept can be applied when justice is related to fairness. If the definition keeps changing over time, how can human have a strong base where they clearly describe what is justice? The only way I can think of is religion, but that would create a lot of opposing opinions in the society because religions tend to be very strict. Justice is a virtue all human love, but we all have different definitions of it.Aristotle 4 Aristotle argued that friends are the greatest external good and how they are an essential part of one’s happiness, which I cannot agree more. People with no true friends tend to have psychological problems. However, it is important to note that fake friends can have similar if not stronger effect on individuals lives. Aristotle had defined different types of friendship which I think are very important to understand so people won’t be extreme in what they anticipate from those individuals.
