Because this is a teacher from New Jersey, she is discussing the New Jersey State Standards.   Since we are teaching in Indiana, we would use the Indiana Early Learning Foundations instead.  You are familiar with the Indiana Foundations from last week’s module.

This will give you practice in matching your lesson plans to the Indiana Early Learning Foundations.  It is always important to tie our lessons to the Foundations so our curriculum is intentional and meaningful for young children and does not consist of activities that are just “cute” or time fillers.
