Sometimes there are no words to describe how we are feeling when we are sad or are in mourning. Songs may help us through the rough patches of life even when medicine falls short. What’s makes a song a “mourning ” song? What re the qualities of the songs that make it appropriate. Of course the lyrics make them an obvious choice but what else creates the sense of mourning?
