Take an inventory of the current technology (outstanding hardware, software/programs, apps, Internet tools, etc.) that is being used in their school (if building level) or district (if district level). To create the inventory, students should talk to at least five teachers, staff members, school leaders, or counselors concerning what technology is being used in and outside of the classroom to enhance learning, communication, and management. Students will present their inventory in a two – three page narrative format that includes the following:
A description of the technologies used (including virtual resources)
Any outdated technology that is irrelevant or should be replaced
Any technology needs that must be addressed
A list of virtual resources that are currently in use in their respective schools/districts
