In this Primary Source Assignment, I’m going to allow you to explore this idea by doing a compare and contrast between two people’s accounts drawn from selected readings in your Constructing the American Past textbook.  You are going to compare and contrast how they view their experiences in the colony.  What words do they use?  How do they describe their experiences?  Are they positive or negative?  Do they remain hopeful or are they tinged or overwhelmed with despair?
Your assignment can be drafted again as a list or a short essay – whichever allows you to best answer the questions.  Type up your list in a Word document and submit for this assignment.
