After reading Sedaris’ short story, you may relate to his theme of being unsure of himself in the classroom (or life for that matter) We all have a story that is funny to retell but was not so funny when it happened. Post about a time that you were the odd man/woman out like Sedaris is his French class. Be sure to proofread and spell-check and do not worry if your story is uncomfortable to tell, so are all of ours. We overcome the obstacle and move on. It sure does make a good story to tell later on. Retelling discomfort is therapeutic. Be sure to include specific descriptive details using as many of the five senses as you can
