Read Books 1 and 2 of Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics. Please analyze Aristotle’s main points of his argument for his ethical theory of The Mean/The Middle in relationship to acquiring happiness and living a virtuous life. You will need to decide whether you agree or not with his theory. You will also need to determine whether or not his theory would actually produce sustainable lifetime happiness/contentment. Therefore you will need to consider whether or not Aristotle’s assertions about leading an excellent life that is virtuous; and his argument that living in the mean will produce sustainable happiness is valid or not!
